Q?Food and Water

We recommend a light meal 4-6 hours prior to departure, and water available throughout the trip.

Q?Tranquilizers / Sedatives

We do not recommend any sedatives and most airlines will refuse to accept a pet that has been sedated.  The AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) strongly discourages the use of tranquilizers or sedatives at altitude.   Even though the aircraft is pressurized, the effects of these medications can vary when at cruising altitude and may affect your pet’s ability to regulate his/her breathing and body temperature.

Q?Veterinary Certificates

World Wide Pet can arrange any or all required veterinary documentation, government endorsement, and legalization. Requirements vary by country and the staff at World Wide Pet is well informed of each countries regulations.
